Texans’ help for legalizing cannabis is continuing to grow considerably on the decade that is past according to a new poll.
Sixty percent of state voters now back making cannabis legal “for any use,” the University of Texas and Texas Tribune survey found. That compares to just 42 percent who said the back that is same 2010.
In the most up-to-date poll, supporters consist of 28 % whom state cannabis is appropriate in “any amount” for almost any usage and another 32 % whom state just “small amounts” should be permitted. Yet another 28 % intend medical cannabis legalized, while 13 % desire prohibition maintained throughout the board.
